Browser web storage enables websites to store data in a browser on a device. This technology is similar to cookies in that only non-sensitive data is stored, but has a greater storage limit. When web storage is used in "local storage" mode, it enables data to be stored across sessions (meaning that data are retrievable even after the browser window has been closed and reopened). One technology that facilitates web storage (and local storage) is HTML 5.

Except for essential cookies, all cookies will expire after 2 years or, in respect of interest-based advertising, after the period stated in the relevant web pages at the links in the table above.
Local storage does not expire, the information remains on your computer for future browsing sessions. The technology works in real-time, allowing websites to access the data stored in the local storage on your browser when you access their websites. You are, however, able to manage your browser settings to disable the local storage and/or to delete the stored data (see below).
Where required by law (and only in respect of browsers and/or devices that support such technology), we use a consent management platform ("CMP"). The CMP allows users of our Platforms to provide their consent to the use of non-essential cookies and/or to manage their consent, in respect of specific functionality and cookies.
In addition to the CMP, most modern browsers also allow you to see what cookies you have on your device, and manage your preferences by using their cookie settings. You can usually find these cookie settings in the “option” or “preference” menu of your browser. You can always use the “help” functionality in your browser to search for this information. Here is a list of links which you will find helpful to understand how to manage your cookie preferences:
Modern browsers allow you to delete the data in local storage (also referred to as "website data", "browsing data" or "other data" in some browsers) by using the privacy settings associated with that browser. Most browsers also now offer the option to accept, prompt for or block the storage of local data.
If you would like to understand more about interest-based advertising and/or managing your opt-out options in relation to interest-based advertising, further information can be accessed via the following links:
If you are using our native mobile applications, you can manage certain preferences via your device's privacy setting (e.g., Platformle iOS Limit Ad Tracking).
Information about our advertising partners is provided in our privacy notice. If you would like to opt-out of the targeting cookies of an advertising partner, please use the links provided above.
